Fynbos is an empowerment investment holding company based in the Western Cape. Fynbos' initial focus was in the media, creative and printing sectors, but has since expanded to include investment in value-adding enterprises within other sectors where opportunities are available. Fynbos' primary aim is the investment in businesses with strong management in order to build sustainable shareholder value and foster long-term wealth creation while contributing to South Africa's drive for black economic empowerment. Fynbos was founded in 2005 by Dr Wilmot James and the Forbes family: Delecia, Keith and D'mitri Forbes, under the corporate advisory of Leaf Capital (Pty) Ltd.
